Wireless Network Pop-ups |
| |
| I keep getting a pop-up alert that says something about different wireless networks as I drive or move around. |
| This is caused by your wireless management software notification settings. Open "IntelPROSet / Wireless" to adjust these settings. You can view your settings by finding "IntelPROSet / Wireless" in the start menu and running the manager program from there. You can also "right-click" the green or red IntelPROSet / Wireless icon near the clock in the task tray.
Once in the program open the "Tools" menu at the top of the window and select "Program Settings". Uncheck "Show Alert Notifications" and "Show Information Notifications". Press the "OK" button and exit "IntelPROSet / Wireless" program. |
